Congratulations to Grand Prize Winners around the world!
After nine weeks of studying the markets and simulating trades, Li Li, a final year student in Actuarial Science at LSE, claimed the grand prize in JPMorgan Investment Bank’s European FantasyFutures game. Between October 1 and November 30, 2007, Li made a total of 924 trades to earn the greatest overall profit, beating more than 2,300 students.
One Weekly Winner was announced each week during the competition. Li was also the week 8 winner. Each of the Weekly Winners and the overall Top 10 will enjoyed dinner in London with our senior traders and take a tour of our main trading floors.
As his international Grand Prize, Li chose to visit JPMorgan’s headquarters in Hong Kong. Li also participated in the day-in-bank for Weekly Winners at JPMorgan’s headquarters in London.
When asked about his experience in the competition, Li points to FantasyFutures’ educational value: "I think FantasyFutures is a fantastic opportunity to gain some first-hand experience in the markets for anyone who would be interested in the financial industry,” he says, “It has been a thrilling experience and I have learnt a lot from playing this game.”
